The Young Liars are indie rock band which formed in Jakarta, Indonesia in 2008. The lineup consisted of Rizki Aryo (vocals, guitar), Hardiantra P (bass), and Uton Nawawi (drums). Hardiantra P is a new member, he’s joined in 2010 and replace the former bassist Aldino Kennedy who had left the band because of personal reasons. Because each of us had a different influences then makes our sounds more varied. Basically we had a lot listen to British indie rock band such as Joy Division, The Smith, The Cure, Stone Roses, Blur, The Young Knives, Bloc Party and Arctic Monkeys. We began working the first EP’s, The Young Liars in early 2009. The album was recorded in Revolver Studio, Jakarta and produced by Bayu Renno. Our EP was released on December 2009 and contains 3 songs: Here Alone, Are You Take All of Parts, It’s The Beginning Of The End. The EP is not for sale but we give the EP for free only at the gigs. “An indie-rock trio from Jakarta.
