It began with Mani Nezami and Crystal Toliver coming together(at the suggestion of Mani's girlfriend Val) during the summer of 2010 to exchange musical ideas and see what they could come up with. After realizing they had some great ideas and that they should pursue it further they sought a drummer to complete the puzzle and ended up with Chris Bassett. From then on the trio known as YELLO ECHO has been working together writing songs and performing a blend of music ranging from rock to hip hop to blues to jazz and even a dabble of country(!). They leave few stones unturned! Some of the local venues who have hosted YELLO ECHO are Mangos,Bohemeos,Avant Garden,Deans,Fitzgeralds and Jet Lounge(now ECHO).
