1. What is The Indie?
   The Indie is a cross platform (social media, mobile, etc) service that exponentially increases the discovery, promotion & distribution of digital assets (music, videos, ringtones, etc) created and owned by unsigned artists, indie artists and indie labels.
2. Who should become a member of the indie?
   The Indie caters to the needs of both music fans, and artists alike. In basic terms, The Indie leverages social activities to encourage new and existing fans to discover, and share music with their friends. How? First, we leverage user activities (newsfeeds, status updates, etc) to virally promote the discovery of new and exciting music. Second, artists are encouraged to interact with fans on a level that creates a deeper, more meaningful relationship. For example, an artist can send automated notifications about new songs, upcoming shows, or photos directly to his/her/their subscribed fans.
3. What is your privacy policy?
   The Indie's privacy policy covers what information we collect from you when you visit our site, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it. By using The Indie, and any of its affiliated products, or services you agree to the terms and conditions of this privacy policy.
4. What are your terms of use?
   The Indie's Terms of Use outlines the rules of usage for all registered users. Furthermore, the Terms of Use explicitly states how the company will provide service, support and information to its users, affiliates, and partners.
5. I forgot my password what should I do?
   If you have forgotten your password, you can send a request for the system to send you your password by clicking on Forgot my Password on the Login/Register page
6. How do I delete my account?
   To delete your account you should send a request using our support system. Please be sure to enter all details about your account (login ID, password, Group name, etc).
7. Does it cost money to use The Indie?
   No. The Indie is free for the artists and the fans! You can sign up and create an account, and there are no costs associated with listening to music on The Indie. That said, fans can use The Indie to purchase songs, and musicians can purchase premium service in addition to a standard (free) memberships.
8. How do I find free downloads on The Indie?
   The Indie enables artists to make their songs available as free downloads. If you are interested in finding more music that is free visit "Free Downloads".
9. Where does The Indie get free download music and can I make my music available as a free download?
   When you see a song with the "Free" download button, this song has been setup as a free download by the artist, or content owner.

10. How do I file a complaint against a member (artists or fan) on The Indie?
    Every registered member of The Indie has a compliant tab associated with his/her profile. If you have a compliant to file against a member you can do so from this page. Please make sure you complete the appropriate fields and include as much information as possible.
