Artist Bio

Missing Andy are a five piece Indie/Rock act whose humble beginnings started at their local college in Essex. Their passion and mutual love for making music and performing drew them to each other. This, with the diverse mix of talents they possess as individuals, has made them the tight knit group they are today. Their debut album Generation Silenced released in March 2012 aimed to speak to and for the people- of which it did just that! The album is filled with songs that offer a little something for everyone- from the Jam-tinged fiery rants of the opening track Alive, the anthemic escapist offering of Kings for the Weekend, to the soul hitting track of Sunshine. Since the release of Generation Silenced, the band has been busy on the road touring in and around both the UK and Europe. With their well rehearsed set and electrifying energetic vibe on stage, they always guarantee to win new fans, while giving something new and exciting to existing fans every time they take to the stage. As a pre-cursor to the album and to quench the thirst of their ever growing fan base, an acoustic EP featuring 4 tracks from the forthcoming albums was recently released. Within 24 hours, it was sitting at number 3 in the iTunes Rock Album Chart. This is testimony to the band being able to reach out and grab peoples attention and interest using their usual DIY approach. Missing Andy worked hard in the studio and have now released the highly anticipated follow up album Guerrilla Invasion- Pt 1 & 2 [Released 1st April 2013]. The two albums are entirely written and produced by the band, which features 20 more, hard hitting and powerful tracks containing the usual lyrical grace they have become known for.
