The Light: Inspiration for many song lyrics and the band name comes from the good times drinking, swimming and fishing at the ocean side. Songs like The Ocean and Happy Hot come to mind. The Dark: The song Prepare For War is about insane people that run our world to ruins. Prepare For War was recorded live off the mixing board at a small Toronto club, July 4, 2010. The first single "Escapism Generation Waste" was released in April 2009. "We write about our planet and our times. We hope you enjoy the music as much as we like writing and playing it," said Brian, Big Blue X's singer. Big Blue X has over 15 songs ready to record, and are working on new releases and live gigs for 2010. Big Blue X currently consists of Brian on vocals and Carl on acoustic guitar. Big Blue X reside in Mississauga and Burlington, Ontario, Canada.
