The songs that I have placed on TIR are scratch tracks from the last sessions I had personally in the studio. All of the parts were arranged and played by me. I am also responsible for all of the recording and engineering. However, I would rather play with others. I believe that playing with and off of other Musicians creates new directions for the music. I always feel like I can be more creative when playing with a band. The music that I write, although sometimes dark, tries to convey some message of hope or change. I think dynamics are crucial to music, both in arrangement and lyrical content. I want a song to "mean" something. If it is just for fun, that still has a meaning too. But it should be interesting. Not because it has a thousand chord changes. On the contrary, some of the best music is the most simple. I guess as a songwriter I want to get my story out. But as a musician I really want to jam and be dynamic. At this time, with the full support of my incredibly patient wife, I would love for someone to swoop me up into their (Record Company) stable and feed me a contract. I feel confident I have something to bring to the table as an Artist. The Idea of placing my music in Film, TV, Games, etc.. is really exciting to me. It is the major motivation for joining TIR.
